ANTI-BULLYING WEEK 2017

🌟 Anti-Bullying Week 2017: All Different, All Equal Rotherham schools proudly embraced the theme “All Different, All Equal”, joining the national movement led by the Anti-Bullying Alliance to celebrate diversity and challenge exclusion. 🌍 What We Stood For The week focused on: •Empowering children and young people to celebrate what makes them—and others—unique. •Ensuring every child feels valued and included, free to be themselves without fear. •Encouraging families and schools to work together to promote kindness and equality. •Supporting staff to take individual and collective action to prevent bullying and create safe spaces. 🎭 A Showcase of Creativity On Monday 13th November, we hosted our first Anti-Bullying Showcase at AESSEAL New York Stadium, in partnership with RoSIS and RUCST. Anti-Bullying Teams from across Rotherham created powerful responses to the theme—dramas, films, poems, raps, and dances—each one a celebration of youth voice and inclusion. “Dozens of pupils attended the anti-bullying event at New York Stadium, taking part in creative activities and performances that highlighted the importance of celebrating difference and standing up to bullying.” — Rotherham Council News Archive
