The Rotherham Anti-Bullying Awards Ceremony
was held on
November 12th 2018.
This year the award-winning schools were treated to a morning at the Aesseal Stadium Rotherham.
Students from Rotherham College Performing Arts wrote and performed an original drama focussed around the National Anti-Bullying Alliance's theme for the week-
‘Choose Respect’.
Children also participated in a micro-poetry workshop delivered by a visiting poet (pictured)
‘Wild Mouth Poetry’, and as part of Odd Socks Day, students and staff wore odd socks.
There was an award ceremony with visiting VIPs including a representative from the DFE
Anti-Bullying Policy department presented the awards.
Primary aged pupils shared their passion and commitment to promoting
Anti-Bullying in their schools.
Over 130 children with staff attended.
Many thanks to Andy & the Odd Socks (Patrons of the Anti-Bullying Alliance) for once again providing us with a fantastic song to learn!
